Principled and experienced, committed and collaborative, innovative and inspiring—Dr. Hamilton has held positions of progressive responsibility within community college and university environments. During his career in higher education, he has successfully managed academic programs, special projects, and budgets. He has supervised staff, faculty, and other entities. He has garnered and deployed resources to attract and support students. He has ensured that they all have access to quality educational experiences (in and beyond the classroom) that lead to graduation and, subsequently, to rewarding careers and service. He has demonstrated success in these foundational and potentially transformational endeavors through effective communication, teambuilding, problem-solving, and creative thinking.
